With over 17 years of editorial experience, Rebecca offers romance indie authors detail-focused edits that make good stories great. She has a B.S. degree in Print and Digital Journalism from Emerson College in Boston, and started her career in the newsroom early. Needing to pitch editors as a reporter, and then later becoming an editor herself, Rebecca has an eye for story - what works, what doesn't, and how to keep readers glued to the page until the end.
She now has the most adorable 1-year-old editorial assistant who loves saying 'cat,' and works exclusively with indie romance authors to help them reach their own happy endings with each manuscript.

“Rebecca Paula worked with me on my book, Secrets in Scarlet, and I definitely believe that the book came out much stronger because of Rebecca’s edits. She has a wonderful skill at pointing out exactly what needs to be fixed in a book - whether it’s a plot element, an inconsistent characterization, or just different word choices - and she’s great at helping you figure out how to correct these elements and make your prose really sing.”
-Erica Monroe, USA Bestselling author of SECRETS IN SCARLET
